Morning Magazine No. 1 July 2012 ELLE

This post will be in a series of blog post about the current magazines on the shelfs. These blog posts wouldn't always be monthly and the magazines will most likely change month to month, but I thought this would be a good idea if I was having trouble coming up with an idea that day or even just for fun! Anyway comment a let me what you think of the idea and any magazines you would like for me to go over! 

Morning Magazine No. 1 July 2012 ELLE

Elle is one of my favorite fashion magazine or any magazine of that matter, so I thought it would be a good one to start out with! This month's cover girl is Selena Gomez looks great throughout the editorial, the clothes that she wore give off i'm no longer that child star that you used to know. Which is fine this "normal" post child star world ( to be fair a stylist picked out the clothes she wore not Selena herself). Justin Bieber (her superstar music boyfriend) was brought many times, which came to no surprise to me because what else do I expect when one of the headlines on the cover reads " JUSTIN BIEBER can't get enough of her". My favorite that she wore throughout the whole interview/editorial was her cover outfit! Most likely not everyone first choice but the Balmin Top is very beautiful with all of the beading and detail work that makes it really stand out for me  My top article in this months magazine is "Forever Fiona" by Liza Ghorbani! I love Finoa Apple, her music I can listen to for hours and never get sick of it! So I was very happy to see profile about her when I was doing my first magazine look through (the one where you just look at the pictures and you really don't read the articles till later)! The never soft spoken singer ( you remember the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards) was given a profile that did her justice, it gave me insight into information that I didn't know about Fiona as well reinforce me how much I love this singer! My favorite style editorial was " A to Zee" ( Zee stands for Joe Zee who is the Creative Director at Elle, you may know him from " The City " as well). This months article was changing piece in your wardrobe from one sean to the next in this case it was summer to fall ( obviously ). A simple article but the littlest tips help the most! From start to fini I enjoy reading this magazine it was it was a great for lounging by the pool, an easy read! If I didn't have a subscription to Elle would I pick this magazine up this month? Truthfully Nope... It's Selena ( sorry Selena ) I just couldn't get through that article, a when you are picking up a magazine to read for me at least it is all about who is on the cover. Sorry about the Selena Gomez rant!
